Booking & Rates
How do I make a reservation?
You can book online through our CampSpot page, just click BOOK NOW button and it will take you to campspot.com/book/mathismotorinnandrvpark, call us at (361) 244-7684, or email info@mathismotelandrv.com. For monthly stays or crew bookings, we recommend calling directly so we can find the right site or room for your needs.
What are your current rates?
RV sites start $30/night, $185/week, or $300/month. Motel rooms start at $69/night plus tax, $340/week, or $1,300/month. Water is included in all RV site rates; electricity is metered and billed separately. All motel rooms include private bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, and microwave.
Do you offer discounts for long-term stays or workers?
Our weekly and monthly rates already represent significant savings over nightly rates — up to 70% less for a monthly RV site. For crews of 3 or more needing multiple rooms or sites simultaneously, call us to discuss availability and group pricing.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please call us at (361) 244-7684 or check your CampSpot booking confirmation for current cancellation terms. We try to be flexible for guests who give reasonable notice.
RV Sites
What hookups are available at your RV sites?
All of our full-hookup RV sites include 50-amp electric service, fresh city water, and sewer connections. We also have 30-amp service available. Water is included in your site rate; electricity is metered and billed based on actual usage.
How long can my RV be? Do you accommodate big rigs?
We have pull-through sites designed for larger rigs — slide-outs are no problem. If you have a particularly large setup (over 45 feet), call us before booking and we’ll confirm the right site for you.
What is the difference between your gravel, concrete, and pull-through sites?
Gravel sites are our most affordable option — great for short or long-term stays and fully functional with all hookups. Concrete sites have a solid pad underneath your rig, which is preferred by many long-term guests. Pull-through sites let you drive straight in and out without backing up — ideal for overnight stops or guests with large trailers. All three types have the same full hookup utilities.
Can I stay month-to-month? Is there a lease?
We welcome month-to-month stays with no long-term lease required. Monthly rates start at $300 for an RV site. Many of our long-term guests stay for several months at a time, particularly workers on extended job site assignments.
Motel Rooms & Amenities
What is included in the motel rooms?
Every room has a private bathroom, flat-screen TV with cable, free high-speed Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, microwave, and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. Rooms are available in single and double occupancy configurations.
Is the pool open year-round?
The pool is open May through November. South Texas summers are hot, and the pool is one of the most popular amenities on the property during that season. It is closed December through April.
Is there laundry on-site?
Yes — we have a credit card-operated laundry room on the property, no need to exchange quarters or preload cards, just use your credit card or debit card at any washer or dryer. It’s available to both motel and RV guests.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property — in motel rooms and across the RV park. It’s suitable for general browsing, streaming, and light remote work. For very heavy data users or video conferencing all day, a cellular hotspot as backup is not a bad idea.
Pets, Location & Policies
Are pets allowed?
Yes — Mathis Motel & RV Park is pet-friendly throughout the property, including motel rooms and RV sites. We ask that pets be kept on leash in common areas and that you clean up after them. Call us if you have multiple large dogs so we can put you in the best spot.
How far are you from Lake Corpus Christi State Park?
About 4 miles — roughly 8 minutes by car. It’s one of the closest lodging options to the state park, which is one of the main reasons families and fishing guests choose us. Lake Corpus Christi offers freshwater fishing, swimming, kayaking, and hiking trails.
Where exactly are you located and how do I get there?
We’re at 1223 North Front Street, Mathis, TX 78368 — right off I-37 in central Mathis. From I-37, take the Mathis exit 36 and head toward downtown on TX-359. We’re easy to spot on North Front Street. Google Maps directions: maps.app.goo.gl/b3eQBhKbvM2TkXPUA
