Friendly staff. From reservations to check out, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Sites were spacious compared to other parks we've visited. Lot's of planned activities in the park center every day. Nice 2 mile nature/walking trail thru the park

Spent 8 nights in mid November on site, able to use PassportAmerica discount for six nights. Park staff were friendly and had biscuits for our dog. Many in park have seasonal lots but there are numerous transient sites. A few large ponds on property offer wildlife viewing and fishing. Wildlife trails and dog park provide nice pet walking areas. Nearby town of Mathis has excellent BBQ spots.

We spent Spring Break week at this park with our 3 kids, making day trips to the beach. The park is one of the best we've ever stayed at - the bathrooms are clean and spacious, and even have heat lamps! Everyone was very friendly, hosts as well as the long-term guests. We had a great time with the paddle boats and the pool was beautiful too. I highly recommend this hidden gem just down the road from Lake Corpus Christi State Park.
